Objectives
After participating in this activity, attendees will be able to:
* Describe the MMS accreditation system including the Essential Areas, Elements, and Updated Criteria.
* Identify the required documentation for each Essential Area and Element.
* Describe the impact of two organizations that set standards for CME.
Accreditation:
The Massachusetts Medical Society designates this educational activity for a maximum of 3.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The Massachusetts Medical Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
